These settings will be specific to your nozzle size, extrusion speed, and shape of your object.

Experimentation is necessary to achieve the best possible base.

If you do not print a base layer, you can keep the bottom open, attach your printed form to a slab, or even attach the form to other printed, thrown, or hand-built pieces.

Base Layer Offset

Base layer offset determines the distance between the outer edge of the base and the model, that is, the size of the base beyond the bottom of the model.

Base Layer Height

This controls the height of the base layer.

Base Layers

The numbers of base layers. You can choose from one to four layers.

Base Layer Ratio

A ratio of 0.0%-500% can be achieved. By adjusting this number, you are allowed to control the amount of mud when printing on the bottom edge.
